Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a representative from Hamarayuni Tours and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to relax and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime. Nestled at the foothills of Mt. Meru, Africa’s fifth-highest mountain, Arusha enjoys a comfortable climate and lush greenery for much of the year. Known as the safari capital of Tanzania, the city is vibrant and bustling, while the surrounding villages offer serene experiences such as exploring coffee plantations and meeting local communities.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your Hamarayuni Tours guide will pick you up from your accommodation, and you’ll head to Tarangire National Park, your first taste of Tanzania’s natural wonders. The park is named after the Tarangire River, the primary water source for wildlife during the dry season. Known for its large herds of elephants, over 500 bird species, and iconic baobab trees—often called the “Tree of Life”—Tarangire offers a breathtaking introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your game drive. In the evening, you’ll travel to your luxury lodge in Karatu.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you’ll journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a cooler region with stunning landscapes. The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a natural wonder formed by a collapsed volcano millions of years ago. Spanning 260 km², the crater is home to some of the densest populations of large mammals in Africa, including wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor and spend the day exploring this unique ecosystem. In the evening, return to your luxury lodge in Karatu.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
On your final day, after breakfast, you’ll visit Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet stunning park known for its diverse landscapes. The park is framed by the Great Rift Escarpment and features a shallow salt lake that attracts thousands of flamingos and other bird species. You may also spot elephants, baboons, and the famous tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before concluding your safari. In the afternoon, bid farewell to your Hamarayuni Tours guide and be dropped off at your chosen location, such as Arusha Town, Kilimanjaro Airport, or Arusha Airport.
